Membership & Donations


Membership in the Friends of the British Columbia Archives is open to everyone and covers the year from September to August. Members receive free admission to all FBCA talks and events and a quarterly newsletter featuring articles about FBCA activities, the British Columbia Archives and its holdings, hints for researchers, and planned activities at the Archives. Plus, members help to preserve the documentary heritage of British Columbia.

To join, complete and the form below and then submit your membership fees/donations via cheque or e-transfer. Once you have submitted your form and payment/donation, you will receive a receipt and membership card in the mail. Alternatively, you can attend one of our upcoming events and sign up on the spot!

Current members can renew their membership by completing the form below and submitting payment via cheque or e-transfer. Former members can rejoin the Friends in the same way.


To donate to the FBCA, please send a cheque or e-transfer (details below). If you wish to donate to a particular initiative, such as the Terry Reksten Memorial Fund or Indigenous Research Fund, please indicate where the funds are to be directed in the memo line of your cheque or e-transfer. The FBCA is a registered charity and we will issue you a tax receipt upon receipt of your donation. Thank-you for your support!
